The Mayhem Sessions!

Two rollers, two racers and one big black clock... roller racing has arrived in Auckland!

It's only 440 yards - how hard can it be? Racing on the 1950s rollers straight out of Manukau Velodrome storage, it's time to get up and prove that you're really the best in town. Want to see how you measure up? Challenge your buddy to a one-on-one race!

Roll Up Details
Get There: 7pm, The Winchester (St Benedict's St, Newton), every Wednesday for the month of August
Events: Fast Rolling Free For All and the Super Elite Invitational Classic. Entry on the night is $10.

Please Note
- As this is a licensed venue, R18 applies
- Riders are to use a maximum gear of 96.4 inches (recommended ratios 53 x 15, 50 x 14, 46 x 13). All bikes will be measured to a 7.499m roll out and have shifters taped.
- Anyone caught cheating will be ridiculed and forced to buy a round of beer for all other racers on the night.
- All riders in the Fast Rolling Free For All will be held for safety reasons.
- This is not an UCI sanctioned event and you will not be drug tested.
- Riding in costume is encouraged. Free entry for anyone who races in an authentic Mexican wrestling mask!

Winter Wind Training

Forget about those late night Winter rides in the cold and rain - join us on Tuesday and Thursday nights for indoor training sessions. With a focus on Strength, Endurance and Nutrition, these classes are ideal for cyclists, triathletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Sessions run between 60-90 minutes and at only $8/class are a great way to give you an extra motivational boost during the colder months. New-comers are warmly welcomed and are treated to a completemantary first class. Concession Cards can be purchased at a discounted rate and shop indoor trainers are available for hire.

Shop Rides

Join us for our 8am Saturday morning bunch ride. Meets outside the shop for a casual 40-50km, averaging around 25km/h.

A perfect ride for anyone after an easy cruise, a brush up on their bunch skills followed by a social coffee afterwards.

Grace Dominates National Sprint Final

Calibre Cycles' Justin Grace remains the fastest man on wheels after dominating the second night of finals at the Lion Foundation Track Cycling Championships in Invercargill last night.

Grace dominated the finals of the men's sprint, winning in two straight races over Canterbury's Adam Stewart at the ILT Velodrome.

Congratulations to Justin on your 13th National Title!
